Unmappedplaces is a Quality Assurance tool. The program takes an .osm file and looks for potentially unmapped / sparsely mapped places (city, town, suburb, village). In the program code there are thresholds which define diameters and node counts.
Output is an HTML file and an openlayers POI file.

Features

Thresholds can be adjusted in code.
The HTML file contains

  • statistics
  • alphabetical list of unmapped / sparsely mapped places (with bigger cities/towns nearby)
  • list of unmapped places grouped by cities/towns near which they are located
