Jorge Gustavo Rocha has a PhD in Computer Science, and works on Geographic Information System and Science. He is Assistant Professor, since 2005, at Departamento de Informática, Universidade do Minho. He is member of the AGILE Association since 99, OGC member from 2005 to 2010 and OSM Foundation member since 2011, February. He is currently (elected in Nov. 5th, 2010) president of the OSGeo Portugal Local Chapter.
