The Grand Floridian is one of nineteen of the Disney owned hotels and resorts on Walt Disney World Resort property. The Grand Floridian opened on July 1, 1988 and sits on the western shore Seven Seas Lagoon and is one Monorail stop before the Magic Kingdom park on the Resort line on the Walt Disney World Monorail System.
