facilities

Should this imply availability of microwave/boiled water? Many baby feeding rooms might just have the room plus a chair for breastfeeding, no facilities for bottle feeding. --Aharvey (talk) 03:59, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

male/female

There is an example of baby_feeding:female=yes/no and baby_feeding:male=yes/no, this needs to be documented. I assume that by default adult males and females are allowed into the baby feeding area (this is what's standard for the feeding rooms I've seen at shopping centres around me). Then if one males are not allowed then you'd need to add baby_feeding:male=no. baby_feeding:female=yes doesn't tell much though because it doesn't say if males are allowed and I doubt there exists a baby_feeding room where females are not allowed... --Aharvey (talk) 10:26, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

public space?

Do baby_feeding facilities exist that are public/shared space? All the ones I've come across have a cubicle with a curtain you can close so it's private for just yourself and your baby. --Aharvey (talk) 00:19, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Finally found one that is in a shared room that anyone can enter without a cubicle or curtain, so they do exist. You may have a baby feeding room that is communal and without privacy. --Aharvey (talk) 05:26, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

primary key

Around me these are called Parents Rooms and have change tables, private feeding cubicles and a microwave, usually next to the toilets. The way this key is written, it could be applied to another primary key, eg, shop=mall might then have baby_feeding=* to say if the shopping mall provides these facilities, but I might then also add the baby_feeding=* key to a dedicate node to show exactly where inside the mall the Parents Room is. Would this then be amenity=parents_room or amenity=baby_feeding? If if next to toilets would I just add these tags to the amenity=toilets object? --Aharvey (talk) 00:21, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
