Fake water tanks

Mention fake water tanks (plastic, e.g., painted silver, bristling with antennas inside.) Jidanni (talk) 05:57, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Mention if we just say "mimics=water tank" or "mimics=man_made=storage_tank;content=water" or something. Jidanni (talk) 06:24, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

I would avoid using "=" in a value. Good options would be: "mimics=water_tank", "mimics=storage_tank", or "mimics=water_tower", depending on what it looks like. --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:40, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Complete example

Give complete example of e.g., a tree tower, with all tags listed. Jidanni (talk) 06:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Example for water tank mimic

Here is a phony water tank cell tower that can be used in an example. Jidanni (talk) 01:31, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

Hidden door

How would you tag a hidden door disguised as a rack of shelves? I was thinking mimics=shelves + concealed=yes Bkil (talk) 12:26, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

mimics=flagpole ?

But example gives IS flagpole ( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Flagpole_Monopole_Concealed_Cell_Tower.jpg ).

Yes, primary reason to build it is to house antenna, but it is flagpole, not merely mimicking one Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 09:40, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
