Equipment for OSM

i-Blue 747

In April 2009, I bought a Transystem i-Blue 747. Here are some points for interested people:

  • With Linux you can easily use the software BT747 to download all the logs from the device over USB.
  • With the switch on the side you can adjust if the i-Blue should log or not (use as gps-mouse). Unfortunately did the i-Blue log further even after you have pulled the switch back from logging. The only way to stop logging is, to turn it off by the software.
  • The ring-storage-mode was not so useful for me (sometimes there were no logs - or even it stopped logging). So i use now the mode stop-when-storage-full. And after every tour am i deleting the storage.

Nokia N900

In April 2010, I bought a Nokia N900.
