I'm a long-time free software engineer who focuses on mapping for emergency response. My day job is the Sr Tech Lead at HOT, which does mapping for international disasters. As a long time volunteer fire fighter in rural Colorado, I've been working for years about improving map data in rural Colorado. This benefits both rural volunteer fire/rescue districts, and also benefits recreational users.
