The 2012 Guatemala earthquake took place November 7 at 16:35 UTC (10:35 local time) with an epicentre off the south coast of Guatemala.
The exact epicentre was south of Champerico, Retalhuleu (map) but widespread effects throughout Guatemala including deaths in Guatemala City
