2016 May wiki server maintenance

The OpenStreetMap wiki (This website!) was unavailable for a period of planned server maintenance. On Friday 13th at 15:30 UTC it was taken offline. OWG were then able to restore a read-only back-up on Friday evening, which remained available until the proper wiki server was brought back online on Monday 16th morning.

Earlier this month the 2016 May server maintenance involved more extensive server moves. This was some follow-up work, also related to the planned power maintenance happening at our primary data-centre.

All core OpenStreetMap services were unaffected.

During the outage, information about tags did of course remain available on the TagInfo site: http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org
