October 25, 2022 regular meeting of the OpenStreetMap United States Board of Directors

Call to Order

Minh called the meeting to order at 4pm, Eastern Daylight Time, via video conference.

Present:

• Maggie Cawley (Executive Director)
• Adam Franco (Treasurer)
• Diane Fritz (At Large)
• Minh Nguyễn (President)
• Brian Sperlongano (Secretary)
• Dani Waltersdorfer (Vice President)

Old Business

• The minutes from August’s board meeting were approved by unanimous consent

Reports

• The Executive Director (ED) provided an update to the board on OSM US’s activities over the prior month.
• The board voted to Approve the membership structure expansion as documented in the “Organizational Membership Brochure Oct 2022” (link) and empower the ED to adjust the membership levels in the future with the advice and consent of the board.
• The board voted to Approve the ED’s revised proposal for the governance committee.

• State of the Map US 2023 will be held in Richmond, Virginia.

• The next board meeting is scheduled for November 29, 2022 at 5pm Eastern Standard Time.
