Naming convention for ref tag
ref:sous-surveillance.net=* contains a dot as a separator. This is triggering warnings with Osmose or other Q/A systems. Shouldn’t we consider simplifying it? (See some guidelines here: Syntactic conventions for new tags) Bxl-forever (talk) 10:34, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

source and survey:date tag on nodes
According to the current import protocol, the source is indicated in changeset tags. There is no need to add it again on objects. Furthermore, the source=* tag is a Trolltag. It has clear (but redundant) meaning only when the item is created. If the item is later modified, it becomes impossible to determine what this tag applies to (position? one tag? all tags?).
The survey:date=* tag has the same problem. However the solution there is a bit more involved, as one changeset would need to be made for each survey:date=* value (with the source:date=* changeset tag corresponding to the survey date). - Thanks for the comments. Ok for the source=* tag. For the survey survey:date=*, it seems a bit of work as the original dataset was built by a lot of contributors during multiple years. Also, mappers can still update the survey:date=* when they survey the camera nodes. --Vucod (talk) 13:26, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for answering, and updating the protocol ! About the survey:date=* : How can one know what has been "resurveyed" if a contributor updates the survey:date tag ? All tags ? Some tags ? Just the position of the object ?
