How to use Split roundabout ?

The menu seem always grey. How to use this feature?

This features works in the following situation: the roundabout is made of one single way + a public transport relation uses it.

When you have this, you can select the roundabout, and the option will be available. It will try to split the roundabout in several ways, the splitting points are where bus routes are entering or leaving it. Reviewing the route relations manually after that is heavily recommended because it does not always work well if there are several routes or several branches to the roundabout.
