The Karlsruhe Hack Weekend October 2018 took place on October 20th-21st.

What's the plan? / Was ist geplant?

Surely you have some unfinished OSM projects or some good ideas for new ones. Bring them with you to Karlsruhe. You will find people to discuss the details with you, or build something.

Am 20. und 21. Oktober 2018 findet in Karlsruhe wieder ein OpenStreetMap-Hack-Weekend statt.

Sicherlich habt auch Ihr jede Menge angefangene aber noch nicht fertiggestellte OSM-Projekte. Oder Euch spukt schon länger etwas im Kopf herum, aber es ergab sich noch nie die Gelegenheit, das Projekt zu starten. Bringt Eure Ideen mit, Ihr findet sicherlich Unterstützung oder Leute, die die Details mit Euch ausdiskutieren. Spass am Entwickeln und Interesse an etwas OSM-Socializing reicht als Voraussetzung völlig aus :-)

The event is in room 007 at the university building "HO" (Hoffstr. 3).
The tram station Mühlburger Tor is closest.

Das Hack-Weekend findet im Raum 007 des Gebäudes "HO" (Hoffstr. 3) der Hochschule Karlsruhe statt.
Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Mühlburger Tor ist vom Hauptbahnhof aus gut erreichbar und liegt relativ nahe.

Construction works on tram/light rail tracks – Straßen- und Stadtbahnbauarbeiten

The tram line between Rüppurrer Tor and Kronenplatz/Durlacher Tor is out of service due to construction work. Some trams are re-routed. This should, however, not affect anyone coming from the central railway station or any of the nearby hotels. See the network map for further details. The changes are mapped in OSM.

Wegen Bauarbeiten ist die Straßenbahnstrecke zwischen Rüppurrer Tor und Kronenplatz bzw. Durlacher Tor unterbrochen. Einige S(traßen)bahnen werden umgeleitet. Wer vom Hauptbahnhof oder einem der nahegelegenen Hotels kommt, sollte davon aber nicht betroffen sein. Siehe den Netzplan. Die Änderungen sind in OSM erfasst.

Food and drink / Essen und Trinken

Geofabrik provides snacks and beverages. For lunch we usually order pizza. Dinner is usually in a restaurant or pub nearby but we have on occasion also eaten in.

Die Geofabrik versorgt Euch mit Getränken und Knabberzeug. Mittagessen gibts vom Pizzadienst, abends gehen wir in ein Restaurant in der Nähe.

Accommodation / Übernachtung

You have to organize your accommodation yourself. Members of the Karlsruhe OSM community might be willing to offer free accommodation if you're interested. Get in touch with woodpeck or Nakaner for details. A list of suitable hotels (all in walking distance):
